ExTENsys Lab

200 kW ORC system is designed for low and middle temperature range waste heat sources (80-150 oC). During system development, cycle design, component modelling, simulation, optimization and economic analysis are conducted. Detailed component design is conducted, manufactured and tested. After then, whole system is assembled for system performance test. To study detailed operating characteristics and to develop system control strategy, lab-scale small size ORC system is developed. With lab-scale experiment, basic operating characteristics, performance improving methods and different system configurations are studied. The project is now in field test phase. In 2015, the prototype system is installed in steal processing plant.
